I think it’s time to get things done. In my opinion we shouldn’t be in this position in the first place, but that’s just me.

I know if I spend too much, I’m going to be in real trouble and can depend on no one else to bail me out. I need to tighten my belt so to speak.

I love my country and my husband proudly spent 26 years in the U.S. Navy. We had to make lots of monetary sacrifices, but we did it because it was just the thing to do.

I’m conservative in my beliefs as far as politics go and I believe strongly in the rights of the individual. Along with rights comes privileges and responsibilites.

I had such big plans for updating this blog with notes and pictures from my vacation, but do you see any new stuff? No! Instead I got sidetracked and a bunch of other excuses.

I did have a wonderful vacation with my sister and brother-in-law, and even have some pictures that I might share.

I remember when I was a young girl and my grandmother said something about time passing so quickly. I thought to myself, how can that be grandma because you don’t have anything to do. But alas, with a little age and hopefully, some maturity, I understand exactly what she was talking about.

I seem to be busier than ever, even if I’m not doing “anything”. Ah, life through the eyes of youth.
